Elekta Nomination Committee’s proposed Board of Directors for the 2017 Annual General Meeting
Caroline Leksell Cooke has extensive experience in the areas of digital strategy, communication and technology and is currently responsible for major international business activities in her role as industry head at Google.
She holds a MSc in Business Administration and Economics from Stockholm University and has studied marketing at Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and has studied at Columbia Business School. Caroline Leksell Cooke is a member of the investment committee at Leksell Social Ventures and the chairman of the holding company Bonit Invest S.A./N.V.
In accordance with the Nomination Committee’s proposal, the number of Board members will thus be nine.
The Nomination Committee’s complete proposal for resolution at the Annual General Meeting, to be held on August 23, 2017, will be available on the company’s website and will be published in the notice of the Annual General Meeting.
The Nomination Committee, prior to the 2017 Annual General Meeting, comprises the following members: Laurent Leksell (Chairman), appointed by the Leksell family for the family’s direct and indirect holdings and in his capacity as Chairman of the Board; Åsa Nisell, appointed by Swedbank Robur Funds; Per Colleen, appointed by Fjärde AP-Fonden; Magnus Henjeby, appointed by Nordea Investment Funds; and Tomas Flodén, appointed by AMF Pensionsförsäkring och AMF Fonder. Caroline Leksell Cooke has been co-opted to the Nomination Committee but has not taken part of the preparation of the Nomination Committee’s proposal on the Board’s composition.
