Elekta announces changes in Executive Management

Klara Eiritz appointed Chief Financial Officer. Current CFO, as well as the Chief Commercial Officer and the Chief People Officer leave Elekta
STOCKHOLM – Elekta (EKTA-B.ST) today announced that Klara Eiritz has been appointed Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Tobias Hägglöv, who will leave the company after a transition period. Klara Eiritz will assume the role no later than March 2026.
In addition, Elekta’s Chief Commercial Officer, Habib Nehme, will step down as the company transitions to a simplified structure where regions report directly to the Group CEO. Chief People Officer, Anna Conneryd Lundgren, will also leave her role. A search process to identify her successor has been initiated.
“Since June, I have spent a lot of time listening to colleagues and customers, as well as analyzing our current state. My conclusion is that Elekta’s recent performance does not reflect the company’s full potential,” says Jakob Just-Bomholt, President and CEO of Elekta.
“These changes are integral to strengthening Elekta’s leadership capability and aligning our structure with our strategic ambitions. By streamlining responsibilities – such as having regions report directly to the CEO – we will be better positioned to enhance commercial execution, respond swiftly to customer and patient needs, and deliver sustainable shareholder value,” Just-Bomholt continues.
Klara Eiritz has extensive experience from various CFO positions within Sandvik, Ericsson, and most recently Volvo Construction Equipment. She joins Elekta with a proven track record in financial leadership and value creation, which will be important in the work to intensify the focus on improving profitability.
“I look forward to welcoming Klara Eiritz to Elekta. With her strong credentials and capabilities, Klara will be an excellent partner in leading Elekta forward. I am confident she will play a key role in enabling us to deliver on our full potential and very much look forward to our collaboration,” adds Just-Bomholt.
“I also want to extend our sincere thanks to Tobias Hägglöv, Habib Nehme and Anna Conneryd Lundgren for their contributions during important and challenging phases of Elekta’s development,” Just-Bomholt concludes.
