Proposed dividend for Elekta for fiscal year 2019/20

STOCKHOLM, July 6, 2020 – The Board of Directors at Elekta (EKTA-B.ST) has decided to propose a dividend for the fiscal year 2019/20. In accordance with Elekta’s dividend policy, a dividend of SEK 0.90 (FY 2018/19: 1.80) per share is proposed, amounting to a dividend of approximately SEK 344 M (FY 2018/19: 688) and 32 (FY 2018/19: 57) percent of net profit for the year. Elekta has a strong financial position, which is why the Board of Directors may call for an Extraordinary General Meeting to propose an additional dividend to bring the total dividend for fiscal year 2019/20 in line with the previous year’s level. Such an additional dividend will be dependent on the general economic outlook and how Covid-19 will affect Elekta and its markets going forward.
