Elekta appoints new Head of Region North and Central America
ATLANTA, USA, February 12, 2020 – Elekta (EKTA-B.ST) announced today that Larry Biscotti will be the new head of Elekta’s Region North and Central America (RNCA). He replaces Peter Gaccione. The change will be effective today.
Larry Biscotti joined Elekta in 2018 as Senior Vice President Sales for RNCA. He has been in the diagnostic imaging and therapy business since 1996, with extensive experience as a product specialist, direct sales, strategic account management, and sales management. He has held senior leadership positions such as Regional Sales Manager and Zone Vice President. Larry has worked for GE Healthcare, Toshiba Medical Systems, Siemens Medical Systems, and most recently Varian. While at Varian, Larry managed large regional and strategic account sales, district sales managers, service sales, software sales and all associated revenue throughout his region.
Larry holds a B.Sc. in Economics and Business Management from Cornell University, continued his education at University of Chicago Graduate School of Business in Financial Accounting and Marketing Strategy, and then went on to complete his MBA in Business Administration at Pepperdine University. In addition, Larry has completed a comprehensive cross-functional management Program for Leadership Development (PLD) at Harvard Business School.
